”I think we will look back in 10 years’ time and say we should not have done this but we did because we forgot the lessons of the past, and that that which is true in the 1930’s is true in 2010,”
-Byron Dorgan (D- North Dakota) in November of 1999

Aim to the face and shoot.
In which an Israeli instructs his fellow soldier that you don’t aim away from the body, you aim to the face and shoot.
Something tells me the shooting of Tristan Anderson was not an accident.

Chas Freeman on the Israel Lobby

Israeli government plans to [...]

BOB GARFIELD: Houdaiby, like Danish imam Chendid, takes pains to distinguish between free [...]

Thoughts on Zasloff and Palestine
I read Jonathon Zasloff’s recent post regarding the People’s Voice plan with some dismay. Its not just that I disagree with the plan on several fronts (specifically demilitarizing Palestine, a unilateral move that effectively strips the future country of sovereignty and ignores the fact that its neighbor is a military superpower), what really bothers me [...]

Framework of a Franchise- Minnesota Timberwolves
It’s (finally) time to get back into continuing the Framework of a Franchise feature. For this one, I decided to do something for the guys at Canis Hoopus, who run a fantastic site, and do the Minnesota Timberwolves. As it turns out, they are also an excellent team for the new format of these pieces [...]
