If 35,000 people show up for a rally, would the media cover it?

If it’s Obama, apparently not. He had THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND people in Independence Park in Philly last night, and it gets but a whimper on CNN, MSNBC, and the like. I guess it’s not a big deal, it’s not like it’s their job to inform people about significant events during the campaign unless they involve flag pins or people the candidates know instead of lies they tell, groups of their base constituency that they ignore, or huge rallies and speeches that don’t have hype beforehand.
