in anticipation of “Rising Down”

Rising Down is the title for The Roots upcoming album (release date is April 29, 2008). The title, like nearly all of their previous albums, is a reference to a book, this time its Rising Up and Rising Down: Some Thoughts on violence, freedom and urgent means, by William T. Vollmann. The link there is to a Powell’s review.

Anyways, I’m not sure that this was seen by many people, but its a trilogy video of the Roots work from their last album, Game Theory…they are all excellent but the last one is my favorite.
